Violent Soho
If there’s one duty you can entrust to Violent Soho it’s getting everyone EXTREMELY sweaty, and they performed that duty with aplomb.
Guest shredding: Delivered in ear-melting style by Magic Dirt guitarist Raúl Sánchez.
Mosh on friends: The crowd
started to heave up and down with the very first chord of ‘Dope Calypso’
and ended some time after the Brissy thrashers left the stage.
Aerodynamics, hey: During ‘Covered In Chrome’, Henery the band’s bass player demonstrated his natural ability to spit directly into air and catch it in his mouth.
The band that stretches together:
Drummer Michael’s pre-show ritual involved some ballerina stretches,
spurring the rest of the band to limber up as well. Luckily, while their
muscles mighta been loosey-goosey, their playing was anything but.
Biggest fist-pump of the entire One Night Stand: YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH (repeat)
